Hawaii 5-0: S5, E2 - Ka Makuakane Episode 2 reminded me of why I find it hard to watch watch sometimes. I just felt the whole thing was so over the top and filmed in such a way to make me feel drama. Kind of heavy handed, making me feel what they thought was right/moral. Didn't like it. The Danny and Steve stuff was good.
Also still not liking Jerry.
Sleepy Hollow: S2, E3 - Root of all Evil I love this show, but man, the dialog in lesser actors abilities would be unbearable. But I still enjoy it. There were some great funny moments (the hat wearing indoors, the lack of ID, Hawley and Crane). Also liked Abby telling Crane that he didn't "let" Katrina do anything and the first reason was that "she was her own person" (or something like that) You go Abby.
Still not enough Captain Irving. Need more Orlando Jones. And the whole kicking the coin to Hawley and him catching it on a plate of stained glass?? Really? Kind of silly, but I smiled and appreciated it.
Saw Gone Girl today, great movie. Awesome directing and acting, and even though it was 2 hours and 25 minutes long it really didn't seem like it at all.
Tomorrow is LM#1's birthday party for his friends, we are doing Chuck E Cheese. The party bags are done, the cupcakes are done. Theme is Ben 10 so I have the omnitrix on the gift bags, and on the cupcakes - however I don't think a lot of the kids know what it is. It's an older show, one that I found on Netflix and the kids really like it.
We painted pumpkins today and I did a Cap shield on one side, an arch reactor on the other and an "A" in between. The "A" isn't great but I am pretty pleased with the other two.
