you lied to Gibbs....

TV
*sigh* Glee: S5, E3: The QuarterbackYeah. This was just a sad episode, which I believe we all knew going in. I think it was done very well. I think not explainin why Finn died was the best decision, it made the episode about his life and not his death. I appreciated that many of the older cast mates were able to return. I thought many of the reditions of the songs (Fire and Rain especially) were well done. The worst scene (for me) was Finn's Mom, Kurt and his Dad. I cried then, a lot, and the rest was just painful but I did not cry like that again.

(The only thing I didn't like much was the jacket storyline, the fact that Mr Shue had it was not a surprise, but he talked to Puckerman as though he took it, and that was just ridiculous.)

The PSA at the end was tasteful. And the fact they won't be back until Nov 7th is a good thing, it would be hard to go from this to a lighter episode.

NCIS: S11, E3: Under the Radar I really enjoyed this episode, it had a lot of humor in it between Tony and Magee, or Tony and the woman agent (who I loved seeing), the loss of creditials, and I loved they used Twitter. Not sure why everyone was so surprised the guy decided to continue to kill himself, maybe Gibbs' face was just disappointed he went that route instead of coming home. Overall I enjoyed myself, these are the kinds of episodes I like best. *g*

The Tomorrow People: S1, E1: Pilot Nicely done Pilot ep. And, I have to say I totally did not make the connection until Mr KA told me, but Robbie Amell plays Fred on the new live action Scooby Doo movies. So when he first was shown on screen, Mr. KA said "Fred!". I found it very funny.

It's an interesting universe. They did surprise me with Jed being his uncle, I had pegged him being John's Dad. Oops. But it seems that Stephen is very powerful, not a surprise, but good that he can see what he can do already and not have to suffer like he has been.

What I found most ... telling was that there are humans and these non-humans, yet they are born human. It's not as though an alien race arrived and planted their seed, it's genetics, some people are evolving and some are not. And the ones that aren't are hunting them down. That's, that's just wrong. But people do strange things in the name of fear. I liked the show more than the hubby and I fear this will be one I end up watching alone. Which. yeah, I didn't need another one of those.

Agents of Shield: S1, E3: The Asset I figured out what I don't like about it, the thing that was niggling me in the back of my head. It's a procedural. 4 sections. And a procedural was not what I was expecting. Now that I know that, I think it will be easier to fall into liking it more. Still disappointed it's a Mission-of-the-week kind of show, which sort of reminds me of X-Files but without the overall "alien conspiracy" arch.

Fitz Simmons still are the best, well, after Agent May as she is the best of the best. :) Glad she has decided to come back into the fold. Ward, well, there was some depth there but unfortunately he is oging to have to work really really hard to overcome my first impression (which is not fair to him, but here you have it - and it's been done, I hated the character of Sawyer on Lost for half or most of the first season and he ended up being a fave character).

Liked the hand coming out of the gravitonium, we'll be seeing him later. *g*

This weekend I had planned to take to the kids to a nearby orchard to pick our own apples. But with all this rain that is not happening now. Now we are going to the movie tomorrow to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 *g*
