So behind in tv......

TV
Ringer: Oh my gawd, there's two of them The best part of the episode was Juliet's reaction to finding out there were twins. Haahaa, and even though the title of the ep told you it was coming. What I like about this show is that while it's a small concept (the show itself) but then the writers make surprising choices and makes the show more interesting. (Like Siobhan putting the contract out on Bridget, Bridget touching the lamp on purpose, Bridget telling both men about the twin before the police questions.) Things you wouldn't expect but make sense. Bridget is a smart woman (most of the time).

I do think that the Dad is being a little ridiculous where Juliet is concerned. I think that she needs strong rules right now but she was trying to do the right thing by not allowing her friend to drive, sadly she didn't know how, but the intention was there. Would have been better if she called a cab, but I think his taking away of the trust fund was just over the top and not necessary. (But did make Juliet have another funny line about what her friend owes her.)

Oh, and Juliet hitting on the teacher... good that he sent her away but I doubt it will sty that way. Sadly this is the second or third show that has this element, not quite what we want to be portraying to high school girls, right?

Glee: The First Time This was a cute episode, I have affection for West Side Story as we did it in high school as a play. My favorite song is America so I was happy to hear that. And I really loved that both first times flipped between Finn and Rachel and Curt and Blaine. It was nice to see that they were both treated the same.

That being said --- I'm a little disappointed that no one in the glee club is a virgin. Sure, Quinn hasn't had sex since she got pregant and is back on the side of chastity. And I'm not naive enough to think that high school kids doesn't have sex but not every single student has sex, it would have been nice to have one in the group be a virgin (and yes Rory the irish kid could be, but of the core group, they have all had sex). Kind of disappointing from a mom's point of view. *ggg*

Supernatural: The Metalists I had to watch this one online because Mr. KA forgot to record it. Grrr. And it was last week and I'm behind in my write ups...

I'm glad it ended with them reconciling and that Sam could see where Dean was coming from, I appreciated and loved that conversation. I do think that Sam should really look at Dean, and keep looking until he forces his brother into some sort of acceptance where innocent lives are concerned. Even here Dean was blaming himself for the friend's death. Sam? Not so much, he was sad, probably pissed off they got it wrong, but not weighted down by guilt. Dean was, even after all these years of helping people, he still takes the deaths they can't stop personally.

And while Sam has pointed out that Dean isn't sleeping and drinking a lot, he keeps backing off. Dean gives a little, the confession about "not liking lying to Sam" was deeply felt and honest, but Sam needs to keep pushing or it will not get better.

Oh. The car, the new hot rod? LOL! I laugh because it's so tiny. Sam's legs are practically pressed against his chest. It's so tiny compared to the boat the Impala is, and it looks funny when they get in and out of it. Which I'm sure was the point, although I'm not sure Jared will appreciate the physical joke after a episode with a lot of car scenes. *g*

Superntatural: Season 7, Time For A Wedding I enjoyed this episode, more so than most online it seems. It was a funny episode and I always enjoy those and this wasn't much different. A lighter side to Dean and Sam was tied to the bed *gg* all good things.

The idea of using Becky though, I can see why the writers did it, they needed a character that both Dean and Sam knew so when Sam was under the drug/spell it wasn't clear if it was directly related to the other fantasies being fulfilled. If it was a random girl character the viewers would have had no question that the girl was involved. Using Becky allowed for the unknown factor for a little while. That's why she was used, regardless of the fact that she was the super fan. I am grateful that they didn't have sex, so that's good 'cause that would have been awkward and bad and wrong. (And while Becky did help by knifing the one demon, what she did can not be forgiven so easily.)

And then there was the last conversation between Sam and Dean, Sam stating that he's an adult and Dean doesn't have to look after him anymore. Dean didn't look very convenienced about that, or perhaps if he didn't have to take care of Sam or look after him - - how will be define himself?

It was nice to see Crowley again and I found it interesting that perhaps he was keeping away the other demons while they tried kill the Leviathans, it makes sense. And they trust Crowley enough to cancel the contracts with no proof but his word :)

Overall though I was amused through the episode and it was a welcomed break from a lot of the heartache.

Hawaii 5-0:Ka lwi Kapu The beginning was cute, I liked that they are bantering like a team. It was lighthearted, started with talk of the apartment and then into the costume. I did not like the fact that Danny just ignored the beliefs of the Hawaiian culture. I know that Danny is a hothead and obnoxious sometimes, but I really didn't think he would do that.

I did like that Steve and Danny had a conversation about it, Steve calling him on how he acted. The follow-up talk of religious beliefs was interesting as well.

Haaahaaa Max was Nero from the Matrix. Cute. And this plot was interesting it had a few twists that I wasn't prepared for, like the body harvesting (still feel the dialog is clunky with the constant repeat of info). And I liked the banter between the team, I think it's the best banter of the season so far. And they still took Danny's car even though it was missing windows, cracks me up.

This ep was decent and I love love the ending with the apartment, now wheather he leaves or not doesn't matter to me at this moment. Just that he got the team to help him and Steve was bitching about the mattress. One thing I didn't like was that Weston called Danny Danno at one point, that is just for Grace and Steve. It just didn't seem right to me *g*

Hawaii 5-0: Lapa'au The opening scene in the apartment was wonderful, loved every minute. From Steve trying to be all stealthy, to not having the same respect for the movie, to the "you alright" without moving his mouth right. Just everything. And Danny, he's being so silly about the apartment, it probably wasn't haunted, but I can see why he wouldn't want to be there, but again, he's living in a gross place. And Steve pointing about a visit from Grace is kind of true. (Steve should just have Danny live wiht him, right?!

The dog was cute, and he went in Steve's office, and Danny's answer is not to offer to clean it up but to take the dog outside. Haahaaa. Enjoyed the scene between Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka - very cute as a fan of Heroes

I will admit that while I don't like Weston the last two episodes have been a bit easier to take her. Max bought a car like Danny's - haahaahaa. And the conversation between them and Kamekona was great. Plus the little 'tiff' about the dog *ggg* All good things that made the episode fun for me. This was definitely one of the best of the season.

We are so far behind in TV, so far behind. It's so bad we will look forward to when things are reruns for Thanksgiving, it will allow us to catch up.

I have off today and tomorrow so today I went and got a massage and caught up on my tv (hence the two H50's) and this really long write up.

This weekend was very productive, I've had two in a row *g* and things are moving along. I went dress shopping and found something to wear to a black tie wedding we are attending in December. Now to just find some strappy shoes as what I have right now is not quite right for the dress. I like it, it makes me feel pretty so I'm looking forward to the wedding now instead of dreading it.

The kids had their check ups and they are good although LM#1 is too heavy. He gained 12 pounds in a year which is 6 pounds too much. I kept telling Mr. KA and my Mom that I felt he was getting too round, but they brushed me off. The doctor said i need to cut out the juice (which he only gets at school) and a carb. Well... I think a lot of this has to do with the lunches being provided by the school. Before that i was making it and now they are and I think there is too much shit in there. So I talked to him and twice a week he will take in a lunch I make and I will speak to the teacher and ask that he no longer has juice. I took the juice away from LM#2 as he doesn't need it. Honestly I don't understand why they need to provide the juice, just give them milk and water, it's healthier and cheaper.

But other than that they are good. LM#1 is 42 inches tall and 52 pounds, and LM#2 is 33 inches tall and 30 pounds. LM#1 is of average height and obviously overweight, and LM#2 is higher percentile of height and average in weight. And LM#2's hair is curling, not "curly" but it's curls at the end and i love it. But I need to take him to get a haircut because if I wait it will be mangey by Christmas, so I will take them both and only get a little trim. I love the curling, it is so adorable.
