Um.

I was driving back from the post office just now and I saw, going down the sidewalk on Blanding, one of Jacksonville's busiest streets, a guy riding on a 10-foot unicycle. Um. I was like, "Oh jeez, if he falls, he will fall out into traffic and DIE." And then I thought, "Well, maybe he deserves that for riding a 10-FOOT UNICYCLE on BLANDING ( Read more... )

I know! Now, granted, up on this part of Blanding (near Wilson) it's not like down in OP, but dude, still. Just two weeks ago a guy on his bike didn't look both ways to cross all 6 lanes and he got killed by a car. A unicycle is bad enough, but a 10-foot one?! Holy cow! What a lunatic ( ... )

I love British comedies, too! Jon is the one who introduced them to me, good man that he is. ;)

Ahhh! Conversation relating to Britcoms! That's a Sunday afternoon tradition for my family. We have the entire collection of Jeeves & Wooster on DVD and we've seen every episode of Keeping Up Appearances (happens after you've watched it for ten years). We also like "Last of the Summer Wine" and "As Time Goes By." Also, Hyacinth Bucket is my grandmother. Can I come hang out too???

I need to find someone who has all the J&W episodes, because we'd like to watch them all. We've only seen a few.

I've never heard of "Last of the Summer Wine", actually. And "As Time Goes By" always seemed boring, so I only watched part of a few episodes. Is it funny like the rest?

Of course you can come hang out! Or, even better, why don't I just come hang out with you in France in a few months? (EEEE!!! A few months!!!!)

One time I was an idiot and went to a movie Saturday around 1:00pm, which means it let out at 3:00pm. Saturday afternoon Blanding traffic... OY. It took me 30 minutes to get from the south entrance of the mall to I-295! What is that, 1/4 of a mile?

You will have to take me to Stein Mart and show me what is so good about that store. Granted, I haven't been to one in YEARS, but that's because I never found a thing I liked there! But I'm open for a new experience. =o) But yes, the SJ Town Center is amazing. It's way better than the Oak Leaf one, because of its sheer size, but Oak Leaf has Kohl's and Ross, so I go there a lot anyway. SJ has fantastic restaurants - definitely. I like the open air concept on beautiful days like that one, but in general I don't like them because what if it's raining, or 90º outside? I feel like a dork when I drive from store to store. Hehe.

Yes! I adore Mr. Humphries. And I am unanimous in loving Mrs. Slocombe. LOL! 'Allo, 'Allo is about a cafe owner and the others in a small French town during WWII. All ( ... )

NICE deals! Maybe I ought to go there... There's one right by a CVS I frequent.

I haven't seen that episode! SO FUNNY! Oh, I love that show.

And hey, sorry if I freaked you out about being so excited that you're local. Whenever you feel like you want to hang out in person, just let me know. I'll be there!
