Woah. First New Year's without liquor. That was definitely a new experience. Jack and I decided to stay in and ring in the New Year in the new house. It was a little weird to put on the New Year's eve party from Times Square and not see Dick Clark. It was even weirder to be watching New Year's eve on tv when I've been out partying every year for as long as I can remember.
It was nice though. Jack made dinner which is always a nice surprise and when we got bored with the tv, we turned on some music and danced. I can't believe that the first time I asked him to dance I had to practically beg him because he said he wasn't much of a dancer. Hah. I knew he was and I was right.
Trick went out to party and I'm hoping he actually meets someone interesting. It's been such a chaotic few months and I don't want to play match maker or anything, but is it wrong to hope my best friend meets someone he can have some fun with? I didn't think so.
One good thing about it just being me and Jack last night was there was no huge clean up and no hangover this morning! I could definitely get used to quiet holidays with my husband.
