[The Mandarin - RP Locked to Matt]
Kim shut and locked the door behind her as she stepped out into the pouring rain. Great,she muttered. Hailing a cab is going to be hell. She made her way down the steps and to the sidewalk, swearing as she stepped into a puddle of water that soaked her feet.
She finally managed to flag down a taxi and gratefully threw her bag in the backseat and climbed inside. After giving the driver the directions she had received from Matt, Kim sat staring out of the rain soaked window. She smiled slightly to herself, wondering what Lee would say if he knew she and Matt were having drinks together.
A few minutes later, the cab was parked outside the Mandarin; Kim paid the cabbie before bolting from the vehicle to the door, trying her best to avoid the downpour. Once inside, she shook the excess water from her jacket and quickly ran a hand through her damp locks while scanning the room for Matt.
