oh my. HELLO EVERYONE~!
Providence set me back a hundred dollars. In August, when me and Tony troop back there for Dany's party, another hundred is going down the drain too. The joys of drinking and complusiving buying cheap, used anime.
So what is new with my life?
First news, one of my two favorite Singaporeans, Charlene, got me an autographed copy of Neil Gaiman's Sandman!!! For all of you who haven't read Sandman, pick that baby up. Its the best comic book (American, Japanese or otherwise) I ever read (tied closely with Clamp's masterpeice Clover and the its-almost-like-crack-its-that-addicting Fruits Basket). Gaiman's the type of author I want to idealistically be; multi-media and undefinable.
I never want a kid. For a while anyway. Baby-sitting Soleil has taught me that two year old children are lovable but are little terrors in themselves and then get all cutesy and hug you and you just want to paint rainbows and shooting stars because children are just so damn cute. Then she does something like pull my hair and I finally realize, I can't handle taking care of myself right now, and god help me if I have to take care of a kid 24 hours, 7 days a week. Ah, enlightment.
I miss Vassar like a missing limb.
I don't have much else to say so I'll end it here. Oh my life is so blase right now.
But before I leave, please
L-arc-en-ciel's LoverBoy L-arc-en-ciel is one sexy band. And the vocalist, Hyde is freaking amazing. And he's a pretty good singer too.
The rest of the band. Oh man...
Man, I can't wait to go back to Vassar. Revere's nice, the family is great but it's not the same.
