WAHOO for a Productive Day!
I got up at 5:30 this morning to pick up my "Bountiful Basket". This is a co-op to buy produce cheap. You contribute $15 and go and pick up the produce at a central location. This was my first time and, boy, does it pay off! I got a rubbermaid tub FULL of fruits and veggies. I was impressed and glad that I decided to try it.
I did some organizing of the school supplies I need to bring to work next week and realized that there are a few other, organizational items that I need... :(
At 11:00 I decided to go check out this place called "Treasures 4 Teachers". It is basically a discount supply store. You pay a yearly membership fee of $50 then go shop in their warehouse. The only reason I decided to pay was because I needed a good desk chair for work. Since my surgery I need a comfortable chair to sit in. So, there was a really nice, leather chair for $5. That alone paid for my membership fee! When you sign up, they give you two reusable (sp?) bags to fill. Whatever you can fit in them; they cost $5 at check-out. Not too shabby...
Now, it is 3:04 and I am ready for a nap! :) But I will probably have a late lunch then get some cleaning done.
