she's making a list, checking it twice...
i am tired of to-do lists. just tired. they never grow shorter, they never seem to end, there's just always something else to do. and the satisfaction of crossing something off the list, or putting that checkmark right beside it - such a terribly rare occasion to be had.
thus i am creating a new list.
presenting,
THE TO-NOT-DO LIST:
(in no particular order, 8 things that I do not have to do, ever)
- place both palms face down onto the stove while it is on (CHECK!)
- start a posse and capture Paris. (France, not Ontario). (CHECK!)
- freak out in the subway and start pushing everyone around me (ooohhh, this one was kinda close, but i can still say CHECK)
- bungee jump off a cliff. with sharp rocks at the bottom. (CHECK!)
- adopt a scary evil bunny rabbit. (CHECK!)
- rob a bank with a rubber chicken. (CHECK!)
- change my name to Fred and learn the Cha-Cha (CHECK!)
- borrow a wheelbarrow and play Dread Pirate Roberts (CHECK!)
i do not believe that i have ever been able to cross so many things off of a list at one go. spectacular!
