help! i'm a turtle and i can't get up
i'm procrastinating. putting off the million and a half things i have to do, for just a little while longer.
and i've run out of things to procrastinate with, so i've come here...
i was going to write something long, but i think, maybe i'll contemplate it a bit more.
here is something amusing: of late, when i read the comic strip "Peanuts", and one of the characters says "Good Grief!", my first reaction is "Hey! I say that TOO!!!" completely forgetting this is where I got it from...
Haha, right.
this is also amusing, or at least, i find it so:
i was at my little cousins' house, and we were playing with this Barbie puzzle book. and it was one of those ad-lib puzzles where they ask you to fill in a verb or a noun in order to create a story. And so one of the things that they asked them to fill in was an "exclamation".
and to me, they were like "what's an exclamation?"
and i was all "it's something that you exclaim! like 'cowabunga dude!'"
and they all looked at me funny and were like... "um... cowabunga dude...?"
and i was all "yeah! you know, it's an exclamation! it's like saying..." and then the only other exclamation that i could come up with was "ai carumba!"
and of course that confused them even more, and sent them into peals of laughter with "ai carumba!"
so Barbie ended up exclaiming "cowabunga dude!" to Skipper, for her surprise party.

ok, not quite the end - i also find this terribly amusing:
Leonardo: "We're turtles, friend!"
Donatello: "Of the teenage mutant ninja variety, sleezeball!"
