One of my favorite exchanges in television history:

"No."
"What's been stopping you?"
Politics got my blood pressure up again today. I cannot even...I don't know how....AAAGGGHHH! I have had a headache for 3 solid weeks now.
I hate politics. I have friends...good friends...friends I've let see me naked...people I've seen naked...people I've married even...who are Republicans. I live in Indiana so if I wanted to procreate, I didn't have much choice. I cannot fathom how these people I care about can be so fucktasticly and completely blind to what the Tea Party and the big corporations are trying to do. It's as plain as the nose on anyone's face.
The people that really get me going are the ones who walked like a Democrat and talked like a Democrat until a black man became the Democratic President of the United States. I see these people who I previously thought of as reasonable and face that I shouldn't be surprised to find a white hood and robes in their closet. I have a day to day struggle to love the sinner and hate the sin. Some days I just want to beat the sin out of the person in front of me with a baseball bat. Thankfully I don't have a baseball bat.
I just can't understand. Can. Not.
Someone once asked me if I had to spend the rest of my life with a chain smoker or a Republican which would I chose. I honest to God do not have an answer for that.
