My first two reviews are up at Nocturne Romance Reads! The first one is
Slow Ride by Lorelei James and the second is
Room Service by Jill Shalvis. Jill Shalvis's books are a lot of fun and well written so you can't go wrong with her. I've got one more review written, but it's not up yet.
How do I feel about the new reviewer gig? I like it. I read two of the books on the cruise which made working a pleasure. What I need is a cruise every month now so I can keep up my three review per month quota. I've got three more to review and I haven't started yet. Looks like I know what I'll be doing this weekend. I did start one book but it was abysmal so I passed on it and got another. I need someone to teach me how to use Calibre. PDFs on my Kindle are hit or miss.
The rest of my life in bullet form:
*Hate my job
*Love my house
*Got a new fridge
*I got U-Verse so I stay up all night watching HGTV on demand
*Jake still won't cut his hair
*My baby Mikey turned 18 last week
*My baby Mikey has been hanging out with a National Guard Recruiter because he wants me to die in a puddle of my own stomach acid
That's about it. No writing has been done. I have decided to paint my kitchen yellow because if I paint it red it will clash with the purple dining room. I took some pictures but I keep forgetting to upload them. I'm thinking a sea-ish blue for my bathroom. We'll see if my quest for home improvement will survive past the picking out paint stage.
Spring has sprung up my nose and lodged itself in my sinuses. Ah Spring. Time to get back to work. Later :-)
