*Yawn*

My horoscope said I'd have a high energy morning. Horoscopes are bullshit. Just FYI.

I have so much crap to do today. I should be switching to my work desktop, but I love using my laptop so very very much. I know eventually I'll have to stop using it, but right now with NaNo coming up I don't want to switch. Then there's my deep seated hatred of change making me drag my feet. I'm rationalizing it as the desktop blue screen of deathed on me so many times that I don't trust it. Is it rationalizing when you're aware of the fact you're lying to yourself?

I voted Saturday. It made me feel good to have that out of the way. I don't have to worry about it anymore which is nice. All of the local government offices were uncontested Republicans. I should have wrote in myself as candidate for Treasurer or something. Maybe next time.

I'm excited about NaNo still. There's going to be a kick off party at Barnes & Noble Saturday. It was my idea so I have no choice but to go and write. I got a spare power strip and a NaNoWriMo 10th anniversary tee shirt. I'm ready to go. I stayed up late last night writing more character bios which would be why I can barely keep my eyes open this morning I expect.

I've also signed up to make one blog post per day the entire month of November. Any topics you'd like me to discuss? Otherwise it's going to be boring stories about my kids and NaNo freak outs. You decide.

My boss is so incredibly surprised that a month's worth of didn't get done on Friday. I gave him the information on the 6th and he gave it back to me while I was doing payroll on Thursday. Not only did I have to keep running back and forth to give him information, but I had to figure out where I was when he interrupted me. It took me three times as long to do payroll because of all the running around and Peachtree's "Improved" timesheet entry window. He asked me this morning if I got all the invoicing in by Friday's deadline and I flat out told him no because he dropped it on me last minute and I didn't get to it. I'm tired of this shit and it's not like I haven't told him all of this stuff before.

Okay, enough work whining. I got so much done Saturday, I thought it was Sunday when I was finished. I voted of course then went to work and did all Mike's updates. I cleaned my bedroom and even used furniture polish instead of just using a Swiffer to get the dust off. I replaced my bathroom lights with energy saver bulbs. I installed my new wireless printer and server on Mike's computer.

Oh yeah, I got a wireless printer. It's so awesome. I can print from my laptop in my bedroom to the printer on Mike's desk in the living room. So far I've printed "turn down the TV", "Jake, you giggle like a little girl", and "somebody bring me a Diet Coke". Oh the lazy, it grows on me.

It's eleven fricken thirty all ready! For pity's sake - I haven't even gotten to have any morning fun! Lunch time anyway. Later!
