Maybe not. Oh well.
I'm making a serious effort to rekindle my internet addiction. I'd say what I'm planning to do, but that's a sure way for my subconscious mind to sabotage me before I begin.
So that I can claim this post had a purpose other than typing practice:
Tour dates for Michael Buble's latest tour. Anybody want to come to Indy on April 18 and wipe up the puddle of goo I'm sure to become seeing him in person? I haven't bought tickets yet so seriously if anyone wants to hang out, I'm going.

My $40 waterproof earphones have already developed a problem. There's a short in the right one. I absolutely LURV being able to listen to music while I swim. The lifeguard, who incidentally gave me swimming lessons when I was six, said she was surprised how fast I was going without flippers. I blame the years of marching band. I was fricken exhausted. I think I'll put some slower songs on the player. Oh and get some replacement earphones.
I've been trying to go at lunch time, but I hate sitting all afternoon at the office with wet hair. I have been going to an aqua stretch class every Saturday morning. The problem I've run into is that stores have put out their carmel Cadbury Eggs. *insert Homer Simpson-esque drool noises here*
~*~
The stores have also had their lovey-dovey Valentine special movies out lately. I managed not to go too far overboard this year. Stuck with Hepburn again because, really, can you ever watch too many Hepburn movies? I got "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Funny Face." I also go "An Affair Remember" because Cary Grant - can't have too much of him either. *insert more Homer-esque drool* Love me some Cary Grant. "Father Goose" is my all time favorite of his. If you love Cary and WWII movies, that's a good one along with "Operation Petticoat."
I'm looking to deepen my movie viewing. How many times can a girl watch "Super Troopers" and "Real Genius"? I haven't gotten bored with either yet so the number has to be over twenty. I'll let you know.
I got "Elizabeth" today and "The Doors" a couple of days ago. I started to watch "The Doors" and realized that I'd only ever seen the cut for TV version and turned it off. Holy lord that's a lot of nudity. Val Kilmer's bare butt circa 1991 was a thing of beauty, but with the kids wandering in and out and all the drugs, it's not a good thing to have playing. Maybe later.
I forced myself to watch all three of the Indiana Jones movies lately with the new one coming out. The first and third aren't bad, but the one in the middle - I wanted to kill that chick before she finished that annoying song. Seeing Harrison Ford with his shirt off wasn't even enough to make that movie tolerable. "Last Crusade" is by far the best Indy movie.
I've already put "Hamlet" on my movies to look for list, but what else should I be watching to make myself a well rounded member of pop culture society?

I haven't gone back ot the vault for unfinished fic. I might if I get stuck. I've been
writing a lot still. It helps that I keep telling myself no one's going to read it. I know how dad's aunt Roselea must have felt. I wish I knew where her notebooks were. She's braver than I am. I went through and password protected all my files. You can't password protect a notebook. I still haven't found my back up USB. That's freaking me out a little. I hadn't password protected those files.
I'm seriously considering entering something in
Writer's Digest Annual contest. I know I've said that before. Lay off. I'm trying to get over my stage fright.

Speaking of the stage. I'm going to go to a play either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I'm considering being in a play for our local community theater. It's the same group of people for every play so I'm thinking maybe. It would be something to do besides going to work every day. I don't know. I may be too self conscious to act. Maybe I should write a play and let them do it. That would be cool wouldn't it?
