(no subject)
My back is sore from all this shoveling, but I know that my muscles are being used and (hopefully!) getting stronger. But wooooooo, snow! It's pretty and fun to play in!
Obviously, I'm not a big fan of the HUGE piles of snow blocking my merging view. Or black ice. Or people driving like jerks. But I don't know anyone that enjoys those things.
Since our street was mostly slush-free by this afternoon, I hit up the store for some groceries (including the makings for someone's belated birthday cheesecake...) and was pleased to see most of the shelves were full (except the bread. But that's no surprise) and it wasn't crowded! Hurray! But since I could get to the store, I'll be heading off to work tomorrow. I've enjoyed my mid-week, two-day vacation!
Looking forward to finally going to the library! I hope to do that this weekend, maybe. I've been considering where to volunteer and while I would lovvvve to volunteer at the SPCA (only 5 minutes away from the office), I'm not sure what I would do. And as much as I love kitties, I don't really want to clean up cat boxes for hours on end.
Also there's swing dancing on friday nights, up here! I'm excited and nervous. Who knows when I'll finally try that out!
Still haven't unpacked all my art supplies and still haven't designed a "we've moved!" announcement. I'm probably agonizing too much over the announcement. :p
