Survey and Update!
I took this survey in August '06 and discovered it while reading back through my journal yesterday. So here it is again, updated, because I am trying to put off having to go down into the stacks and search for books on sociology and the power of corporations. Sigh.
1. What is your main cell phone ring-tone?
Hello Little Girl by The Fourmost. I kept meaning to put wrock on it but haven't got around to it yet. Some day, maybe.
2. What is your default LJ icon?
It's the kiltedmonkey monkey, but I do love my Ravenclaw icons from Wicked-visions.
3. What station is your car radio permanently tuned to?
You know, I don't have a car. And besides I have an iPod lol.
4. What is your computer desktop image?
Here, it's the official Strathclyde desktop. At home, it's the Devil Wears Prada promotional poster, which has been on it for AGES. I must get other wallpaper.
5. Is there something you wear every single day?
Glasses or contact lenses. This morning I had to duck out of a lecture though because one of my contact lenses got dislodged and stuck up underneath my eyelid...it wasn't fun. It was pretty amusing, looking back, already, so that's something. But it wasn't much fun at the time and all that.
6. I wish I had a tracking device on:
I don't know. Maybe my phone lol. I lose it around the house sometimes.
7. What page does your internet browser open with?
Google because it's the default firefox homepage and my firefox keeps resetting itself so I don't even bother to change it any more. Besides it's useful to have Google just one click away :)
8. This item never leaves my purse:
Stamps. I always have stamps in my purse. It's so mad. Right now I have an elastic band, money, sugar, salt, stamps, various cards and promotional things, a card for a taxi company in BIRMINGHAM, and a card for an Italian restaurant. That I can remember.
9. What TV show do you never miss?
I never missed Heroes when it was on, now it's over but I have the box set YAY! Um. I never ever ever miss Skins, I've actually come to like it. And Grey's Anatomy is coming back to our screens in just two days' time, I'm so happy about that!!!
10. What phrase do you hear yourself repeating too often?
"Awesome!"...because the Americans have corrupted my brain.
In other news, I am planning to try my hand at writing fanfic, and Maren is back in the fold so we're working on an issue of Cauldrons and Chocolate Frogs for April. If you're interested in the fandom side of things I suggest you pop by my creative journal, musicaldiscord however I do warn that there will probably be some high-rated slash going up soon XD it'll all be clearly labelled and thus easily avoided though. As ever, if you don't want to read it then DON'T :P I don't see why people find that so hard to grasp...
Anywhore, not the point. Gah it's cold here. I must go and do essay research now.

PS. Carol and Harny agree mightily that Chad and Ryan are gay. Hahahahaha I told Jess I would convert the people at uni, I told her!!...I am a bit too happy about this. Well I don't care XD Fandom isn't fandom without gay subtext, lidi even made icons to that effect :P
(though my favourite is still the "Subtext is an anagram for buttsex" XD. I have that on my musicaldiscord account. So totally rox.)
