Part lectures been to so far: 1 (because they kicked me out of beginners' German. Psychology is way better anyway :P)
Times fallen over: NONE (woohoo!...well, so far)
Stairs climbed: FAR too many to count. Up to History is 6 freakin floors alone!!...and Stuart thinks I'm insane for climbing them when there are lifts. But there are huge queues for lifts!!...and I need the exercise LOL.
Times have sarcastically muttered "Oh, FUN": Also far too many to count.
People I have met that I already knew: James; Gillian, Gozzy, Robbo and Lauren Purdie from Dalziel; Alana (sort of).
People who I have met and whose names I have remembered: Stuart, David, Alana, Kirsten, Heather, Sinead, Robert, Claire, Jennifer, Carol, Chris, Claire, Martin, Hannah, Lindsey.
So. Thus far, I have learned:
1) The hill you climb to go from Livingstone Tower to the John Anderson building? It might as well be a mountain! You can only go DOWN it comfortably. FACT. Which they neglected to mention in the prospectus!!
2) Lots of people have been heard to wonder how dangerous said hill will be in wintertime when it's icy. Answer: very, very and extremely. We'll have to get sledges.
3) That there is a way to bypass the hill entirely!! (Thanks Stuart :P ) It's a bit of a long walk, but SO WORTH IT. I wondered when we went that way, "Is this really better?" But having been up the hill, the answer is YES!!!
4) That the History lecturer probably isn't wearing a wig, but his hair sometimes looks like he is.
5) Learning Services does not open until 10.30.
6) The top five hates of people in the psychology class are: *Iraq/Bush/Blair *Terrorism/September 11/July 7 *Child abuse/paedophilia *Holly and Jessica's murders *Rape.
7) The Hutchison £30 monthly bus pass takes me both from here to Wishaw AND on the Pullman :) Yasssss.
8) Conditioning is cool, but psychology does have a lot of jargon!
9) There is another entrance to the John Anderson building...but I still don't know where it goes, so I'm still too scared to use it LOL.
and finally:
10) If you walk around Glasgow humming songs from old Fred and Ginger movies...you will get funny looks :P
Hope everyone's having as good a time as I am :D I have a day off tomorrow so I'll be sitting here in front of the computer the whole time :P I'll think of you all slaving away...
