I apologize in advance to anyone who's just finding this out via my LJ or my Twitter. But it's something that should be known, and I really don't have any better way to do so. I'm trying to find the words but I can't. I've known him for the better part of a decade.

It's terrible that people are spreading vicious rumors about him.

Do you mind if I link to this post so that other people that knew him can find out the news?

Thanks. What day did this actually happen on? It'll help me cope knowing the day so that I can properly mourn.

We... suspect it happened between 11PM Monday night and 2AM Tuesday morning. I think it might be safe enough to assume he died Tuesday.

He died Monday March 14th around 11:30pm. That is what information i gleaned from the coroner tells me.

Feel free to post, to talk about it. Feel free to contact me and ask questions. I was with him the day before he died, and i knew him the best, by his own admission. I don't know how i earned such an amazing honor, but i am forever blessed to have had it.

If you or others you know want to come to the memorial, please stay in contact with me. I will keep you filled in and give you the information as i get you. You will be welcomed there.

You are very welcome. Do you have any estimation as to how many people might want to attend? That does effect if we have the service indoors or outdoors.

Thus far, it will take place in Park Slope Brooklyn and i will endeavor to get the time and date set by the end of the week as i myself will be leaving the 12th of April. I cannot be here when the month mark of his passing comes. I know that is when i will finally crack.
