wow, i have totally neglected this for so long, i'm sorry!
a LOT has been going on..some good, some bad but things aren't starting to calm down either.
i was home 2 weekends ago for mr. dooley's wake and funeral and it was so nice to get to see everyone again, but under the circumstances it was less than ideal. it was just so sad, but dan has so many people that love him and i know things will be okay.
midterms are starting this week =/ not looking forward but oh well..at least it means i only have half a semester left until i'm dunzo with freshman year. it went by so fast it's not even funny. my last day of class is may 5th, i can't believe how soon that's coming up.
on march 12th my mom's coming to meet me in the city and we're going to dinner and going to see the new york philharmonic orchestra. it should be awesome..one of my favorite violinists is performing, so i'm excited to see her. i have to write a critique of it for my final term paper in music history, so i'll have to take notes and not just get to sit back and enjoy the concert like i would want but it'll be good either way.
my neck/shoulder injury is still a mystery and i have to keep going to physical therapy. i've been going for 3 months already and the problems not getting solved. i also get soft tissue massages as part of therapy but it seems to just make it worse. it really sucks to have spinal problems that are supposed to happen to old people when you're 18 cause every doctor is just completely stumped. oh well, i guess i'll just have to keep doing what i'm doing and pray that it'll go away.
went home for president's day weekend and i got to relax for the first time in a long time. i slept so much..i didn't realize how sleep deprived college makes me. i just hung out with drew and slept pretty much the entire time.
i'm so psyched for spring break..8 days in west palm beach with 3 of my friends from school should be heavenly. i cant wait to just lay on the beach everyday. and i'm going to attempt to get rid of my albinoness. we're also gonna drive up to disney for one day which should be so much fun, i love disney world! after spring break elka's staying in garden city with me for easter so that should be fun, then it's back to school the day after easter. and after that we have NO more days off or breaks. april is gonna be a long month, i can feel it.
today we're supposed to get that huge snow storm and it's supposed to be snowing today, tomorrow, and wednesday..all i want is to get a snow day out of it..we still haven't had one..new york city is way too efficient with getting the plows out, i wish they'd just stop! haha.
well i have to go run to class..another boring hour and 15 minutes of music history learning about things that i learned in like 4th grade so i shall be napping most likely. adios.
