haven't updated in a while..
columbus day weekend/my birthday was so awesome..i've been having an awesome time lately. went home for the long weekend and ate real food and hung out with people etc. when i got back here it was business as usual...homework, classes, drunkeness. friday, saturday and tuesday nights are the best nights here cause like everyone goes out.
yankees lost last night =(
go cardinals, that is all i have to say. if boston wins i will not be very happy.
going to see mamma mia tomorrow! i was supposed to go with my mom and aunt but on monday night my great aunt died and so my mom has to fly to ohio for the memorial and stuff, so she can't go anymore. my whole family is upset and it sucks being at school and not being able to be with them. my aunt and i are still going to go tomorrow but i wish my mom could've gone with us.
it's so weird being away because my mom and i have become so much closer. we were always pretty close and got along and stuff..we rarely ever fought, but ever since i left we talk all the time and we talk more as friends than anything else, and i tell her so much more too. i think college really strenghtens your bonds with you family and friends and stuff..it's kind of like a blessing in disguise. it sucks being away, but it makes you appreciate them even more. speaking of, i miss my friends so much! i think soon i'll be heading down to UDel to see my britty and i'm SOO excited about that. thanksgiving is much anticipated.
oh! and i went to the bronx zoo yesterday! i haven't been there since i was like 2 and now that i live across the street from it i decided i should take advantage of it. so a few of us went over and i had such a good time..it was practically empty so we could see everything we wanted. it was such a nice day..i had an awesome time.
midterms are almost over, thank god. i have my english one to take today at 1130 and then information systems next tuesday and that's it. my midterms were so spread out i really didn't have a chance to stress over them that much. my math midterm was definitely the hardest, so i'm curious to see what i got. i guess i was supposed to get that back this morning but our teacher never showed up, so we all waited until 845 and then left. good start to the morning, though.
me and court are celebrating being legal by getting our bellybuttons pierced today! so excited..i'll post pics when i get a chance.
going home tomorrow after mamma mia so i can get my new cell phone finally! mine is breaking by the day and i'm dying for my new one. then drew and i are going out for lunch and then i'm gonna catch the train back to the city and meet courtney and her friend from home at macy's on 34th street to go shopping. should be a fun day..then sat night we'll party it up as usual.
