Bling Bling Engagement Ring Ring
So I finally got down on one knee and asked my bitch to marry me....I mean my girlfriend...the love of my life. Bitch is such a dirty term but I like it. I mean secretly I want to call all women bitches. Not because it's like derogatory but just becau....ok I'm going to stop now because most of the people who read my damn journal are women, and I know that they're all gonna be mad. Don't be mad, you know I love all you bitches...i mean women. So anyway, I proposed to Julie on May 5 and it was magical. She is my everything and I want to be with her forever. So this is a rundown of what when down.
I started out by telling her we were going to have a date on Wednesday. Which is even more special since we live together. We rarely go on dates so it made her anxious. We went to Buca Di Beppos, a nice Italian resturant. I actually dressed up for the occasion. We had some food and some laughs. Lots of playful playing and stuff. Then I went to the restroom, when in actuality I went to phone Richard, my roommate and best friend, to tell him we were on our way. I had him set up a little surprise. When we got home I told her to close her eyes as we entered the house. All the lights were off and only the glow of 12 candles in the shape of a heart lit the room up. I had her open her eyes and in the middle of the candles was a build a bear, still in the box.
She wanted to know what was in the box so I told her I had written a poem for the occasion. Just a reminder, for weeks and months before this I had been alluding to the fact that I WAS NOT going to marry her anytime soon, if at all. And how would I have the money for this anyway?
So I read the poem and got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. She was totally shocked. It was by far the happiest moment of my life so far. The bear was an awesome piece to the puzzle as well. I had recorded myself proposing to Julie when I went to buy the bear and I put the recording inside, so that anytime she wanted to relive the moment of my proposal words she just had to press the bear's paw. So yeah..hopefully we're going to get married in October of 2005..if anyone wants to come just shoot me a line at kilogrtheclown@hotmail.com and we'll see if we can squeeze you in. So until then...love the ones that love you back and don't be afraid to love the ones that don't.
