Well Im baaaaaaaack!
And i had a lovely trip thankyou for asking. i love how the fact that its the 50th anniversary means that tinkerbelle is EVERYWHERE. Yup it was pretty fun. Dispite the fact that V and Nadine were determined to go on pirates of the carabean 14 TIMES. (i would have been good after 3 but hey, if they enjoy it why not). We also did the Grizzly river raft a good 5 times, that ones awesome.... and we did the tower of terror twice.... i did NOT like that one. Yet if you look at hte pictures youll see me grinning away, with that blasted determined smile of mine. i was NOT going to scream i was going to smile for the pretty picture, damnit.(ofcourse the picture does not show me sqeezing ashlees hand so hard that she lost the feeling for a good 3 hours afterwords). We ofcourse also went on almost every other ride in the place, but im not gonna bore you with details....
I learnt quite a bit about friends too... i mean no matter how much you do for them, how loyal you are, how far you would walk to see them, you can never expect them to do the same for you.
I mean lets take Sunday night for example, my last night in Disney and i wanted to get shopping done (ya know presents to buy and all) before the park closes. V and Nadine were on Autotopia so Ashlee went to meet them and i told her to meet me back on mainstreet. I told her id be in one of shops and i had my cell. (conveniantly forgetting that i gave her my cell to put in the bag to keep it dry during splash mountain). She told me sternly "i dont want you walking back to the hotel alone".
So after i was done my shopping they still hadnt shown up so i wondered up and down mainstreet through allt he shops looking for them. They were no where to be found, so i sat on the curb figuring thed walk past eventually. Nothing. So i went to find a payphone since i had already discovered my not having a cell. and my visa woudlnt work. Finally after an hour of wondering the streets knowing i coudlnt go back to the hotel alone cause ashlee would kick my ass, i went to city hall where they were able to call my cell and ashlee picked up. only for me to discover they went back to hte hotel after searching for me for 10 mintues unsucsefully. yup htats right i wandered the streets for a FRICKEN HOUR looking for htem and htey gave up after 10 minutes. it just goes to show that even my friend who i have known since i was 5, has not a clue what kind of a person i am. Its really quite sad.
But its all right you know, i had no right to be angry as they did dutifully search for me for 10 minutes.

I have ofcourse long since gotten over it. Nonetheless it just goes to show that the days of loyal friends who would do anything for you are long gone. *sigh*
