A time I overcame self doubt.
Like I have any self doubt. I have never in my life doubted one single thing I've done. What's the point? There's plenty of other people who will be glad to shoot your hopes and dreams down, why bother making it worse for yourself ?
If I believed my dad every time he tried to put me down, every time he told me I couldn't make it as a musician I'd-be right where I am now but I'd be studying accounting instead of creative writing. And that incident with the drama professor might not have happened but it was valuable life experience I wouldn't of otherwise had.
You can only get through life by thinking that you're the greatest person who ever lived. If you don't, you're gonna get eaten alive. Life is a streetfight in a dark alley and your ego is your broken bottle shiv.
