At work yesterday, me and this other kid got into political discussion. Always fun. He is pro Bush, and i am pro kerry, so we just kinda let it rip. Some how one of us brought up the RNC, or the Republican National Convention. And then he brought up how he had the same opinions as Bush on things like Gay marraige (bush thinks it should be illegal - he even had a marriage protection WEEK) and abortion (i think bush thinks its wrong, but i'm not quite sure). I guess i'm mostly pro choice. Gay Marriage doesnt bother me because it doesnt concern me, and i dont think that we should be living in a free country to have these types of restraints put on. Same with abortion, i think it should be the girls choice. So then he said something pretty harsh "Dont you have morals?" Thats not really a fair statement to say nor is it a nice one. He also goes at one point "Well, aren't you a Christian?" Yikes. So we are both working together and discussing this stuff and I went to do something else and he comes up to me later and said "You know Katherine, i really respect your opinion because it sounds like you've actually researched it, and not because someone else (implying my parents) told you to." I thought that was a really nice thing to say and it gave me a lot of respect for him.
Were you also aware that Bush has a criminal record? A DUI and had his license temporarily suspended.

Been hanging out and doing some fun things lately. I've also been in really really good moods to the point where i'm driving and i just start smiling and laughing.
I have to go to work soon and maybe i will tell this kid some stuff. And hopefully george will give me the twenty five dollars for taking his shift bitches!
And i'm really sick of hearing about the hurricane.
I'm in love with death cab's transatlanticism. I like their other, but this is really pretty and i cant stop listening. I've had it for a while but never really listened to it.
I will give someone fifteen dollars to clean my room for me.
This coming week i'm only working 15.5 hours, tuesday thursday and friday. I'm going to go broke.
Soon i'm getting a new computer! Yay. I'm very excited.
I'm obessed with the french language. Every time i see it i just think its so beautiful. There was a soap box in the trash with french on it and i thought it just looked so pretty. I want to be able to speak it so bad. I rented a french movie the other nite and it was okay. The name escapes me, also i got an English movie, Ratcatcher. It was okay. well, i think it was english but the people in it were scottish. Bottom line: someone teach me french.
