a busy day with nothing accomplished
This whole job search thing is so depressing. I loved my job in utah. I really did. And now my options are wal-mart, or burger king. I won't stand for it. I wish the Arkansas workforce services site was better, utah's puts it to shame. I also went to the base's Non-Appropriated Funds office. The jobs they had listed were lodging clerk, which i can't do because they sell alcohol at the front desk. what kind of logding center lets you buy liquor when you check-in to your room? ugh. The other listing was an accounting technician. i was too scared to apply for that.
i'm not that great at math.
speaking of math, i took my GED, and i did so well that they gave me an arkansas high school diploma. and i'm eligible for a 2 year scholarship to pulaski county college. it's a shame i won't be here for much longer.
i assume we'll be moving again next february, hopefully to germany, but probably alaska. maybe. who knows, we might be stuck here forever. but from what i hear they're phasing out christopher's job to civillians because LRAFB is really really small. so germany is a big possibility considering that he's physical therapy, and all the wounded soliers from iraq go there for treatment.
i really wish i knew what was wrong with my body. everybody is just as sure as i am that i'm pregnant, but i also have doubts. what if it's something else. i don't know.
