lmao I'm just going to wind up doing everyone in this post aren't I? OKAY HERE GOES

✖ Clover is VERY open with her emotions. She looks disgusted talking to creepy guys, she jumps and skips when she's happy, and though some of this can be blamed on the medium (visual novel woo), she's only rarely reserved.

✖ SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE oh my god she is so dependent on her brother it's crazy. CRAZY. She throws a hissy fit if you-as-Junpei pick the branch option that separates her from Snake-and then later grills you on what happened down that path when you meet up with her later. You'd think that him being blind would make him more dependent on her, but noooooope. Bad things happen if bad things happen to Snake.

✖ Queen of Not Giving A Shit. So there's this dude that's referred to in the text as being a mountain of a man, he's got huge scars on his face and one of my favorite reviews calls him 'the big criminal bruiser type.' Clover points out that she'd expect a guy his size to have bigger balls. And then eggs him on when he threatens to kill her. It's great. Similarly, everyone picks code names to hide their identity! Clover... picks her own name...

✖ If it doesn't have anything to do with Snake, the Nonary Game, Morphogenetic Fields, or related subjects, Clover's not book-smart. She doesn't need to be! Because she has Snake. Have I mentioned how dependent she is on him

✖ Speech-pattern wise, she's somewhere between Ruka and Terra, but only when she's unsure or upset. Otherwise she talks fast, contracts her words (c'mon, kinda, sorta,) and is upbeat and bubbly and recovers really fast. She got a knife held to her throat and then the dude who did so exploded like a minute later; five minutes after that she and a few others had to go walk into the hallway where he exploded, and while she's standing in his blood and charred bits of exploded flesh we get "Clover's voice was as bubbly as ever" and an upbeat explanation of game mechanics.
