Nagi has given this a lot of thought. Hell, he's given this too much thought. That's why he's not able to write a letter and keep things easy. There are way too many variables that he can't even begin to fill in. He's got to do this in person

There are several people Aya would not be entirely surprised to find on his doorstep. Yohji's...friend is not one of them.

"Can I help you with something?" The tone of his voice suggests that the appropriate answer involves going away and leaving him alone.

"I hope so." Fujimiyas are so cranky, aren't they? "Is there somewhere we can talk?"

"Is there something wrong with right here?" Given Yohji's usual taste in women, there's an even chance this one's planning to kill him, so he'd rather avoid inviting her into his apartment.

"It could be a long conversation since I'm in a rather honest mood, and I suspect I'll have to explain a lot of crap for you to believe me." He pauses. "Unless you have no interest in Yohji's health and sanity, in which case I'll come up with a plan B."

Yohji's health and sanity have been MIA since he came back to Weiß, at least, and Aya suspects it's been even longer. And yet...

"You may as well come in for a while," he says, unlocking the door.

"Cool." Nagi does his best to display something looking like manners when it comes to entering and leaving his shoes in the right place and crap. "How long have you guys been in Kyoto, anyway?"

"A while." If she wants to know that badly, she can ask Yohji. "Would you like some tea?"

"Sure. You probably cook better than Yohji." Pause. "So in a non-threatening, really not trying to piss you off context, and by the way, I suck at small talk, have you talked to your sister lately?"

"What do you know about my sister?" His tone is polite, almost nonchalant. Oddly, though, his method of preparing tea apparently requires a paring knife.

"That Yohji's return to Weiss should have matched up pretty closely with when Kritiker stopped being incredibly heavy-handed about stopping you from talking to her." Like that knife can get anywhere near Nagi....

"If you're here to talk about things I never asked Yohji to do, then you're wasting your time."

"Maybe I just want to know how careless you are with gifts."

[3lostkittens]

"You seem to have developed an impressive level of interest in my life for someone who's only met me once before."

"I've heard a lot about you. He used to be in love with you. Might still be, but he buried it pretty well if he is."

"I was under the impression that you were here to discuss concerns over Yohji's health." He sets a cup of tea on the counter near Kimko. "If that's the case, I suggest you get to the point. If not, please drink your tea and leave."

"Hn." Nagi picks up the tea. "The current mission has already had a high dose of weird-ass shit, right? Because I'm bringing you more, and I don't know how much I need to explain."
