you're just as guilty as them

Some guy who just walked into the store had a pink phone.

I'm at work. The Mikes are moving all the arcade and tabletop games to the new location - the slightly larger, former fitness center carpeted room. Which might mean more arcade games! I hope they consult with us this time, because I'm living with one of the biggest gamers ever - he would know just what other gamers would want. :) And, fortunately or unfortanately, he knows what the masses want, as well, so with his help, I think we could cater to a pretty diverse crowd. Of course, we they'll probably just buy games without any consultation, assuming that a game is a game.

I think Andy and I are having Chef Boyardee pizza tonight. MMM. Excitement. Last night we had General Tso's chicken and white rice. I cooked the rice pretty awesome, I think. I burned the breading on the chicken, though - too much flour! Oops. We also had applesauce, lol, just because we had it in the house and wanted something other than chicken and rice. If I'd tried to make something else - like lo mein or something - we'd have had way too much food. I like this cooking thing. I wish I was more creative.

If Andy gets his job, maybe we'll have celebratory steak. If not, next week we'll get some just for variety. Or, I'll buy some cheap wine and we'll have a romantic steak dinner on trey tables while watching whatever is on TV. Or we'll make it real fancy and rent a movie.

Andy's parents gave us a portable grill when we visited for Memorial Day. That'll be fun - trying that out. I think Andy will take over cooking for that, and maybe make us burgers.

This is a very food-heavy entry. Maybe its because my lunch consisted of cheddar fries and a half-empty bottle of flat Pepsi.

I get to leave in an hour and fifteen minutes. So far, they haven't made me do any physical labor. FINGERS CROSSED. XD

They've cut my hours pretty significantly. No more twelve hours a week. This and last week, I got six hours. And unless somebody drops out, I'll continue to have six hours. I might be in luck - one guy said he may have found a better job. I hope he has - for his sake and mine. Six hours a week isn't much income to live on. Andy and I are doing pretty good, though. Until my b-day week, we didn't eat out or anything. And now that Memorial Day weekend is over, we won't eat out for a while. I want to do a few fun things this summer. I'd like to go to Waldemeer - which, really, for "both parks," is only 18 bucks a ticket if you get the discount. And I would like to go to Kennywood, too. I'll have to recheck rates on that, but I know they have a discount, as well. And a zoo!

Oh, Andy is calling. Bye, livejournal!
