My back is extremely stiff from laying around. In the past fifty hours I have watched all three Lord of The Rings. Despite how many movies I own and have watched, I had never seen any LOTR movies. I liked the movies and enjoyed the time I spent watching them, but a few thoughts ran through my head as I watched The Return of the King.
First, I thought that the male hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin) had a lot of borderline-homosexual encounters with each other. I'm not sure what things were like hundreds of years ago, but I'm pretty sure that two heterosexual men never jumped into bed with other men, or gotten within an inch of each other's lips while gazing into each other's eyes. The other thought that occurred to me was: If the magic eye was all powerful and knew everything, how did it not know that two boys were about a hundred feet away on a journey to destroy the most powerful ring of Middle-Earth?
