Where lovers don't remember where they met and heartbreak is easy to forget

I haven't updated in nearly two weeks, so I figured one was long overdue. The length of this entry will depend on when Phil decides to call for our usual Thursday night hangout.

When this past spring semester was coming to a close, Brianna and I discussed what we would like to do this summer (Six Flags, the beach, etc.). Well, today I knocked one item off that list by taking her to the Philadelphia Zoo. Besides the heat and the body odor from a hundred sweaty Amish people, I had a pretty good time. Observing the lions made me wish that I could come back in my next life as a lion in a zoo, but not because they sit around and have sex all day, but rather I would love to scare the shit out of the kids who tap on the glass.

After Saturday I should be scratching another idea off our list when we go to the beach. We have made two attempts to go to the beach since we got out of school, but the weather was terrible both times we tried.

Last Friday I played my final show with the Revival. It turned out to be an alright show, but I enjoyed the car rides with Jim most of all. I had to drive his car on our way to the show, which was a little awkward.

Other things that have happened recently:
-Got my tattoo finished.
-Finished my first summer class and got an A in it.
-Watched a ton of movies in the past week including Just Friends, Firewall, 16 Blocks, Fun with Dick and Jane, Corpse Bride, and Rosemary's Baby.
-Got laid off (possibly forever) from my library job due to lack of funds.
-Picked up an application to be a substitute teacher in Washington Township.

My girlfriend and I have also been looking into purchasing a dog. I'm not making any decisions yet, but I have been thinking about it.
