The Best of 2024
My last entry was the worst things that happened, this is the good!
- Concerts. We saw Young The Giant, Cage The Elephant, and P!nk last year. The concerts were loads of fun. The Young The Giant and Cage The Elephant show was at Ruoff in Noblesville, which I'd never been to before. P!nk was at Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts usually play. Sheryl Crow opened for P!nk which was really cool.
- Basketball game. We went to see the WNBA's Fever play at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The new WNBA star, Caitlin Clark is on our team. They played the Atlanta Dream, and won in an exciting overtime. A lot of fun.
- Painting. We finished painting the walk-in closet bedroom, and started painting the office. We aren't done with the office yet, but we're getting there. I enjoy painting rooms and walls. I can't wait until our whole house is done!
- Walks/Runs on the trail. I love trail running or just going for walks, and we explored our little town a small amount, but I'd love to do more this year.
- Christmas/Holiday and decorating. I really enjoy decorating for the holidays, and this season was a lot of fun in general, with the vibe, the food, the fun. The cheer. Going to have to do that again. Maybe this next year ;-)
- Had a lovely birthday lunch with a friend and my mate in Indianapolis. Then took a walk to explore a little. It was a nice time. And then I went home and took the longest nap. 3 hours I think!
- Spending time with my little family. We have 3 kitties, and they are my family. I enjoyed playing with them, throwing toys in the air for Angus to swat away or catch, rolling jingle balls across the floor, etc. I love snuggling with everyone in a warm blanket, getting purred to sleep, kisses from my mate, and hugs from all.
Hope 2025 is just as good if not better!
