To Run
Yesterday we went for a walk in the sun. My hair is lightened now. No tan yet. We walked to the community college where they had an awesome track. We're driving to the track in a bit to run.
Yesterday Laurel got an alarm + remote start installed in her 91 Rodeo (named Rusty). Someone had broken in with a jimmy or nail file, or something, a few days ago and again on Friday and unlocked the door somehow. They stole some change; thankfully she left nothing else in the vehicle to get stolen. So last night we camped out in the living room (its parked along the river under our balcony where we can see it) to see if the perp springs a trap. No one did. We were almost a little disappointed. It'd be fun to scare the crap out of one of those river people trying to scam someone else's things!
The river has gone down a bit, the flood watch is now just an alert. This means the river people are at it now full swing, living down along the banks and under the bridge. Creepers.
