Its supposed to be spring!
Come on Seattle, don't tease me with the promise of sun then take it away and be 45 degrees again. Whats gotten into you? I thought we were friends! BRRRRR.
The house is clean and silent. Save for a few dishes in the sink. And the floors need to be swept and mopped. Other than that, its nice! I dragged the heavy entertainment center from Dustyn's old bedroom into the living room. There! We have an actual living room! Couch, end tables on each side, recliner in the corner, entertainment center, and fake plants. Oh, and you can't go wrong with a coffee table and fireplace either! Nice. I don't know why, but those two douchi brought a bad vibe with them constantly and I hated going out into the rest of my own house!
Laurel cleaned the bathroom (thanks baby!) and it is nice. I got a new shower curtain (it is darker but made of fabric instead of vinyl, which faded in the washing machine). In about 45 mins I am going to open the garage door (for the first time) and clean out my cavalier as best as possible (the open garage serves as storage for several items I kept in the car because they had nowhere else to go). Then when I pick Laurel up from work I'll drive the Cavy instead of the HHR, and immediately drop it off at the detailing shop so it'll get rid of all that nasty dog hair and be clean to sell. I'm ready to get some money offa the bitch! Gotta go to Grandma & Grandpa's first though so have my dad sign the title. Oh that reminds me, I need to purchase updated tabs and get the new title/registration for it before I do that. My to-do list always just seems to get bigger and bigger!
Today I also plan on going to Target to pick up a frame for my Michael Whelan print I purchased 3 months ago that I haven't found a frame for yet due to its size, but Target has them. They also have frames for the paintings Laurel and I have done recently; I especially wish to put my mom's painting in a frame before I give it to her, too. Here it is:
I like Saturdays because it means I am not working. I miss Laurel however, and I know she would rather be hanging with me than working! I brought her Starbucks though today so I hope that helps.
