i woke up early today.
at least it wasn't as bad as yesterday. my mother woke up everyone in the
house an hour early, because she forgot that daylight savings ended...
damn that woman!
pop was ironing his clothes, the dog was dead asleep next to me and rose
was excited to play on the new toshiba laptop that our sister sarah bought
for her...
sarah is too kind to rose. rose acts like a brat (she's older than sarah) and
expects sarah to get her expensive gifts... when she would never spend more
than $40 on a present for her...
TOO kind...
rose finally fell asleep (she works the graveyard shift) and i moved the fur ball
over to her room. i made breakfast and looked out the window... it is still dark and
dead out there. i don't hear any moving cars or the sound of the chirping birds.
pastor choi returned back to the states this week. his father was ill, but thankfully
he got better when his son arrived in korea. i can tell pastor choi was very worried for his
father when he got back home.
he and his wife thanked me for looking after the sunday kids. mrs. choi gave
me a little gift.
so, i received 연양갱(red bean jelly) and seaweed seasoning.
i am not a fan of red bean jelly, because it is super sweet. since it is a gift, i gladly accepted it.
as you can see, i ate some.
