Went with the wife in to talk to her surgeon. She had a lap band many years ago, and it's obviously had a slow leak since new. She's now thinking sleeve revision to replace the thing.
Anyway, during the conversation, the doc snarled at me about "what do you know about WLS?" I quickly went over my multiple surgeries. He was slightly taken aback, and then said "well, you don't look like a success now. You need to lose weight to be a success."
I'm 5'10" and weigh 190.
Dude's a jerk, hope he's a better surgeon than conversationalist.
