i like music for music..not for what clothes are associated with it
today i thought i would do a little shopping so i went to arrowhead not thinking anything about it. i finished my business at the mall and cruised across the street to the target shopping center and it seemed kind of busy for a wednesday afternoon. i casually brushed the traffic off of my mind and spotted subway. as i was searching for a parking spot i realized that i kept on getting further and further away from subway and was seeing more and more children dressed in full suits and chains with ripped tshirts hanging from their asses. first i thought that there was a special ed class on a field trip but as i got a closer look i said, "wait...no....they're punks!" the whole shopping center was full of the dirty little kids. i continued my search for a parking spot so that i could enjoy my sandwich that i still needed to purchase but only found more punk kids or parking spots filled with their dirty punk cars. finally i found a beautiful parking space right in between target and red lobster.

i got out of my car and began my treacherous journey in the heat toward my lunch. as i walked through the parking lot i saw more and more ridiculous looking kids walking around. one particular group of kids with the majority of them wearing noncents shirts (so i knew they were legit) came up to me and asked if i liked the show. i answered to them, "what show?" then they looked at me like i was stupid and told me it was the warped tour. i thought to myself, "ahhh it all makes sense now". then what looked like the leader of the pack said, "hey.....you like hardcore huh?" i politely told the little bastard no but i was thinking in my head, "just because i have a tattoo and holes in my ears does not mean i like shitty music or go to shows or have anything to do with any of that"
i just had to get that off my chest
while i'm at it ill tell everyone other things i don't like
i don't like going to shows just for fun
i don't like the sun
i don't like punk kids or anyone that would lump their whole being into a genre of music
that goes for emo kids and hardcore kids and all that
i don't like it when people come up and talk to me because they think that i like the same music as them (and most of the time they are wrong)
