concordia is slowly starting to turn me into a homicidal maniac.
the first few assignment were cake-walks. spanish civil war, formation of the UN, the reign of terror, things that can be easily researched, cited and sourced.
now i find myself writing essays on the three forms of medeival literature, czarist heraldry, and other topics where information is as scarce as someone who actually enjoys nickelback.
sometimes i question my decision to do these online courses, my decision to attend school in montreal, my decision to go to concordia period. it seems like such a daunting task on so many fronts. saving up is going to be the elephant of the group, especially after the saving for spain is done. but there are also the little things; the lifestyle changes and distance and what not. i will miss my friends dearly. i tell myself i will try to make it back monthly, or more plausably, every 2 months. but i highly doubt that will happen. i will miss malta kano, especially robbies stupid jokes. i will miss boomer and hank and maverick and bird. not so much bird.
but then again, this is all if i end up going. rye-high and mac are the back up plans. I just think it would be mighty foolish of me to waste the online courses that are bleeding me like a stuck pig.
whats with the brew-ha ha over valentines day? its neither good nor lame. it has pros and cons.
pros
- candy is always good (well, not for me anymore...but im not getting into that)
-love is always good
-they played the simpsons where lisa gives ralph the oh-so-classic choo-choo-choose valentine.
cons
-if you need a quasai-day of celebration to remind your lover how you feel....your lame
-people spend $4232343254545 on flowers. why not just get flowers everyday?
-people spend $4232343254545 on alot of lame shit. a kiss on the cheek should suffice.
spain draws ever closer.
so long, 'apple pie'
