HIATUS!
I have a bit of a dilemma. My Maxtor 500gb external hard drive has shat itself and for life of me will not show up in 'My Computer' therefore it's not allowing me to access it. Even when I plug it in or out it won't make the sound and I'm really worried because it has everything on it. I mean everything. From all my pictures of family and friends, about 19 TV shows that I have downloaded, 10-20 movies and of course, photoshop. Go figure. So for that, I'm not going to be able to make any icons for a while. Which is really pissing me off. But anyway, that's not what I'm worried about. It's the 6,000 songs on the hard drive that I'm really going to miss. Luckily all my music is on my iPod, so I can still listen to the songs, but they're not recognising them on iTunes.
Anyway, so yeah. I'm going on HIATUS for a while until I get this heap of shit fixed and up and running again. I've contemplated shaking it... Maybe. But then I might do further damage. If anyone has any idea on how I could try and fix it. Holla at me.
