So I finished that paper yesterday, and emailed it to the professor right at 5:00, the deadline. I had written about 10 pages of text, then the bibliography, and I also attached a bunch of diagrams and the like... Altogether it came out to 16 pages total, not the minimum 20 he had specified earlier. So I sent him a really apologetic email along with my paper, basically saying that I had changed my topic at the last minute and I didn't have enough sources, but that I would add to it if I didn't have enough information, etc. Here's the reply I got today:
Hi Killian,
Your paper arrived in good order! I look forward to reading it. I have
learned a lot from this class and hope that the final paper projects
were interesting to research. Have a wonderful summer!
Prof J
...Sooo...Does that mean it's all good?? A plus?
Whatever I get, it feels good to not have anything hanging over me anymore. This finals week was hell, but I did everything, amazingly enough... So I'm satisfied with that. I wish I wasn't taking summer classes, so I could just work and save lots of money... But it's probably better to take these classes and finish school sooner. Anyway it's going to be a lot more laid-back than this last quarter. I am never taking 6 classes in one quarter again. Ever.
