In case you'd wondered what I was on about in my last post: a Sony-sponseored and YouTube-endorsed website has stolen not only the concept of a site I helped to found, and in many cases has blatantly plagiarized our content itself. Whereas we promote free speech and a free Internet, corporate-backed sites such as KYM wish to not only sanitize open and user-generated content to make it more easily digestible for the idiot masses, but to steal and profit from this theft while the true pioneers in this corner of the internet struggle to continue providing an uncensored and open service that is unavailable elsewhere on the web. KYM lie and then remove correspondence when confronted about their transgressions, preferring to exhibit a suspiciously telling silence rather than deny their wrongdoing or attempting to explain themselves.
