EVE remains a game I'd never play, but do love to hear about.

So, right, there's this guy, Chribba. He runs a bunch of EVE fansites, and hosts an exchange program allowing factions and players to trade with some measure of security (ie, both parties hand Chribba the loot, and when they've both paid in full, he passes the goods to the other party. This a) prevents fraud and b) requires Chribba to be beyond reproach).

One day, some takes a shine to a space station Chribba owns, and sets their alts on it, planning to blow it up and then move in and build their own after the fact.

At time of writing, said profiteers have 11 separate factions bringing hellfire down on them, including some of the games largest mercenary groups.
Tip: if someone's entire business is being trustworthy, honest and allowing the megarich to hire heavily equipped warmongers, you have to be monumentally powerful or monumentally stupid to fuck with them.
