It has become a bit of a tradition for myself and my friends from Aurora over the past four years that every time we drive to or from UIUC we check to see how many safe days the soy bean factory has posted. This is what it had posted the last time I drove by:
I can't help but image that there has to be at least one guy who will report a paper cut just to mess up the count.
The highest I think I've seen was somewhere in the 300s. And for the record, I prefer the old stick on numbers sign they used to have instead of this digital one. The sad thing is that this is probably the most interesting part of the long drive through the flat corn fields of the great state of Illinois.
