Campaign

So apparently I have sorta been drafted to shoot portraits for this guy's campaign. Of course we did the regular mug shots for flyers and such, but we also wanted to do a character portrait, you know something people would really remember. This of course would go along with some type of humorous slogan.

Anyways this is what I came up with. I thought it was fun and the most I could do with one puny flash and somewhat short notice.

I always seem to have horrible trouble getting portraits to look right with web colors, but this is the best I could do. 256 colors just aren’t enough when you're used to a million. In other words this doesn't demonstrate how the portrait actually should look, but what are you going to do.

In case you were curious, this photo is a compilation. We didn't think to bring the flag along for some reason. It doesn't matter though, because I only had one light, and thus couldn’t have lit the background anyways.

Also I know it isn't time for the weekly post yet, but I thought I'd treat you.

Oh by the way, I have been promoted to Senior Staff Photographer at the newspaper. Other than getting paid a little more I dont think there is any differnece, but I thoght it was cool.
