Hot Ali on Flashy Action
So here are a few more photos from Ali's practice session with Flashy. This series depicts some of her practice jumping, aka after leaving the stable. I'll post one here and the rest under the cut. If you are curious, the photos of her runing around used natural light. In the rest of the photos I metered the flash to balance the natural light so that the sky didn't turn white and also because it started to get a little darker, and horses move to fast to shoot with natural light after the sun starts to go down. The result of balancing your flash with your natural lighting is an evenly lit picture from foreground to background. I used this technique in this case because I thought that the sky added a bit of nice color to the photos. I'm no expert though and I still think I need some practice shooting these animals. Perhaps I'll get around to posting some of the photos from Ali's horse competition in the near future which I shot a long time ago. I'm so lazy.
