Is it just me or is
Pamela Ribon's book characters--Anna K (Why Girls are Weird) and Benny "Boobs" (Why Moms are Weird) are getting weirder by the second as they seem to reflect my life, written in pages?
Because it's either that or Pamela Ribon is writing my life story--although, not quite all of it... Just every situation the lead character goes into and how she deals with it, and how she thinks and such.
Just think of the movie "Stranger than Fiction". Instead the author already wrote it, and the events have happened already to the lead character but she's just discovering that her life has been written down in a novel---NOVELS.
I was reading Why Girls Are Weird, this August, which is about a liberal arts graduate named Anna Koval who deals with this guy, who just happens to stumble on her website/blog; and who she eventually talks to on online on a daily basis. Sounds familiar?Heck yeah! And if that isn't weird enough, try reading their IMs to each other!! Damn LDobler/Kurt reminding me of someone... And I still haven't returned the book since I borrowed it!
And now, Why Moms Are Weird.... Zack tells this line, "Don't like me. I'm not likable." Helloooooooo??? Does that ring a bell???!! And I just read that just today too! And and and what about these lines from songs?--imagining each song you hear is the soundtrack of your life--painfully describing what you think and what you feel at the moment! Damnit. I do it all the time!!! O.O Am I the only one who's weird enough to admit that I do this? All the time too? Patiently waiting for signs and songs, making my own soundtrack, whatsoever? If you don't believe me, try taking a peek at my diaries... I write with the radio on.
And why the hell do I seem drawn to these WEIRD books?
I'm just saying, I think she's already written a major part of my life in novels...
Then again, maybe I'm just assuming.
But wait... those heroines are assuming!!
But whatever. I love her books.
Whatever weird means.................................
