I was watching
Much Music on
Rogers, and saw that new music video by
Adam Lambert, where he was all made-up and very very "glamorous".
Then it came to me!
Being a fan of the 80's (my debut was 80's themed--all
Cyndi Lauper (SHE BOP!!! Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!),
Madonna,
Culture Club and
The Go-Go's era), I suddenly remembered who Adam Lambert reminds me of!
None other than, Culture Club's
BOY GEORGE.
Personally, I think he's the "Boy George" of this era.
Wow this entry is sort of timely considering that this weekend is
PRIDE WEEK ...or "weekend", if you'd rather. =/
I LOVE GAY PEOPLE. <3 They're sooo fun to be with. Gay-Squared, is what I'm pertaining to. Those gays who are gay being gay.
Too gay, yet? I don't care. It's what makes them GAY. =)
So anyway, Adam Lambert + Boy George...
Back in his American Idol days, like any other girls who'd watch the shows only for the look-out for cute guys, I had the slightest crush on Adam Lambert.
[[[Now, I don't particularly like guys who wear make-up, but in that instance, I was opting to bend the "rules", so to speak. I mean, who wouldn't be? Those deep-set blue eyes, black hair, tall, lean, thin lips, gorgeous chin... I might have to stop right there, because the things just go on and on as to why girls won't and can't resist him. Besides, having to go on and talk about his looks would just make the girls sulk and whine in one corner, complaining why are all the hot men gay?]]]
So yeah, anyways, back in Idol days, i had an inkling that he might be gay... Maybe because he reminded me of some gay celebrity/pop artist... who, back then, I still wasn't sure who is. But I did.
Boy George wasn't bad looking, back in the 80's, he is in fact, rather sort-of GOOD-LOOKING--minus the fact that he wore and still wears a lot of make-up.

Nice lips... =]
And then, I saw that video, "If I Had You". My mouth dropped like the sagging jugs of old people.
Adam Lambert is Boy George! or at least, paying homage to Boy George and his "glamorous" lifestyle with the obsessive make-up, eyeliner, eccentric, over-the-top hair and costume, and not to mention some racy acts in their performances or videos.
I don't exactly know why I wrote this entry.
Maybe because I have been dying to know that celebrity who Adam Lambert reminds me of.
And I finally got it out of my freaking cerebral cortex, which has been analyzing Satellite and Cable Codes all through the week.
[To they self: "I love my job." "I love my job." "I love my job." "I love my job." "I love my job."]

On other news...
Karlo and I finally moved to
Brampton Towers, where our parents are currently working as Assistant Building Superintendents.
Yes, our rent's free. Electricity, hydro, heating and ac... they're free.
The Low-down?
It's ... ... ...
Well, I guess it's okay. It's tolerable. Though I'd still prefer living in the other apartment,
2 Hanover. The people there are nice, and not to mention, disciplined.
Oh and did I mention, I share a room with my 2 brothers. It has been long since I shared a room with them.
2004. That was the last year, I shared a room with them. Back in our old townhouse in Veraville, Moonwalk Village. I really didn't mind it at all because my 2 brothers would usually sleep in my parents bedroom, considering they were still small. However now, my 2 brothers are both taller and bigger than me, I find it rather "constricting".
As a girl, I'm quite OC (obsessive compulsive) with how I'd like my belongings arranged. I'm not super-duper neat. But I just like them placed in a certain way... Call me "
Monica Geller-Bing", in that certain case. I can get very anal about how things should look. That's why I didn't allow my bros entering my room, unless they really need to, and now, they have access to my stuff. Not that I don't let them borrow it, it's just that... I value my privacy. =D
So, I'm watching the world cup. Paraguay and Espana on
TLN. Sad to say, I don't get it. All I know is that I'm rooting for Spain and that making a goal is important.
My dad's considering buying me a koche! =D
Viva La Espana...
Wala naman, nakiki-uso lang. XP
Pero I changed the channel. Looking for F.R.I.E.N.D.S., if not, DVD MARATHON.
So let's sing...
"Do you really want to hurt me?"
