"Crap!" Chuck said, his mind only half paying attention to the slot machine in front of him.

"What's the matter, Chuck?"

His look of worry turned into disgust. "My sister and Awesome are heading back up to their room from the pool...together."

"Well, that should get us a little more time to find those waitresses of ours."

Chuck scanned the room, taking in the flashing lights and loud noises bursting out of the slot machines they were sitting at. "You know, this isn't a bad stakeout."

Sarah gave a him a look as if to ask if he was being serious.

"I mean it! When I have to sit in the car, I always wish I was in the middle of the action and here I am."

Sarah looked around to see CIA and hotel security but no actual action to speak of. "There's nothing going on, Chuck," she said a bit reluctantly.

He just strugged his shoulders and said "Alright, well where's that $50 you won last night?"

An hour later, he had lost most of Sarah's money in the slot machine, mumbling "I'll owe you," repeatedly.

Then he saw her sit up straight. "Is that them?" she said, trying to nonchalantly direct Chuck's attention over the bar by the high stakes poker tables.

"Yep."

With a nod from Sarah, security swept in quickly - Chuck couldn't tell if they were CIA or the casino's personal guard. All he knew was that they were gone as soon as he confirmed the identity of the villious waitresses. But it seemed as if no one had even noticed the quick sweep away of two waitresses in skimpy outfits. Apparently, they were all too busy making - or losing - money at the tables.

And then it was back to just being Chuck and Sarah sitting at the casino's slot machines. Chuck was hoping it would have been a little more interesting than that. "Uh…that was uneventful."

He turned to see Sarah looking just as surprised. "Well, I knew Vegas security was good, but that was surprisingly good."

Chuck just turned his head to see if anything else needed to be done but he couldn't even tell if any security was still around. It seemed a little weird to not have to flash on anything else or need to have someone get him out of some sticky situation during a mission that he got himself in. "So that's all we had to do?"

Sarah turned to him and smile. "Well, you do have to give me $50."

Chuck smiled sheepishly and got up from his spot. "Deal."

Dinner that night was at a swank restraurant at the hotel bar, and it was good. All of it. At one point, Chuck looked around at the table and the people he was with, taking in the whole moment. This is what he wanted Vegas to be about - having a good time and just for a little bit, leaving the spy world behind.

When the bill arrived, he reached for his wallet to pay for half the meal.

"Hey, Chuck! Put that thing away," Awesome said. "I got it."

"Are you sure? Because I can easily pay for Sarah and I."

Chuck watched as Awesome looked at the check with a concern on his face.

"Is something the matter?" Ellie asked.

"Yeah," Awesome said, before flagging down the restaurant's manager. "I think something is wrong with our bill."

"Oh, nothing is wrong, sir. Your dinner is on the house," the manager explained before walking away.

"Why would dinner be on the house?"

Chuck looked at Sarah - and saw the head of Treasure Island security behind her shaking the manager's hand. "Uh...you know," he said quickly. "Sarah and I came back and lost A LOT of money in the slot machines. Maybe they're just being nice."

"Seriously, Chuck," Awesome replied. "Those things are so rigged."

"Well, I know that now," he said.

As they walked out, Sarah leaned over and whispered in his ear. "Nice save." It was the best he had felt all weekend.

The rest of the night went on without a hitch. Blackjack worked in his favor many times over. Not only did he win money at the table, but he earned enough to pay Sarah back for his botched attempt at the slot machines earlier.

And he didn't have another flash.
