Wow speed reader. I'm reading a book called Satanic Verses right now, it is another weird book, but in a different way. The author spent a decade in hiding because the Ayatollah in Iran, but a bounty out for his head, since it refers to a time when Muhammad told the people in a city that Allah was accepting their gods as angels. Muslims refer to this part of the Koran as the Satanic Verses. The book so far has really only talked a little bit about that and the rest is just weird, people having conversations wall falling out of exploded airplanes and landing on the shores of England and surviving, then turning into half human half goat and the other guy has like another angelic dimension that is attached to his belly button that he goes in and out of. Just a really strange book so far
