May Term is so fabulous. My class is 25% boring and 40% busy work but it's overall pretty good. I'm learning about drug abuse and related issues. Really, though, I'm watching movies and going for bike rides and doing sudoku puzzles while just chilling out. I was really lonely at the beginning of the term because I'm the only one left in my suite, but I'm pretty used to it now.
I'm kind of ambivalent to go home for the summer because I'm going to miss my friends a lot and I'm not really sure anymore where "home" is for me. There's also some weirdness for me about starting to feel like an independent adult and then going to live with my mom for 2.5 months. In addition, I get to work my butt off all summer and then go straight to student teaching, probably without a break.
On the plus side, there will be puppies and high school friends and real food!
