If logic weren't against me...
...I'd swear a burning wreck of a plane just flew over on its way to crash somewhere.
This is all based on sound alone. I did not get to see it as I have a Sadie-kins lying at my feet and if I move she moves. But it sounded like a very low flying plane, combined with the sound of roaring fire in fierce wind. Also the entire house shook.
Logic is against me on three points. A. Despite not being able to get up or see, I'm pretty certain I burning missile of a plane flying overhead would notably light up the night sky, but it remained just as dark as before. B. No loud boom followed (it's been over ten minutes, maybe closer to twenty). C. No sirens.
Another one just flew over head, mom went out to check. The only plane is really high up, and it's lights are tiny dots.
By both sound and feel, though, we should be able to read any writing on the plane clearly.
